4 Founding Pilot Programs in Kumamoto Japan

2002-2003

4 Elementary schools in Kumamoto City Japan have participated for the first time in the E-Friends WORLDRAW project from April 2002 to March 2003. Browse through some of their work displayed here to inspire you with what children can actually perform through this project. This project was awarded the Japan UNESCO prize in 2003.

Countries involved were: Japan, France, Romania, Spain, Algeria, the USA and Canada.

- Worldraw at Musashi primary school Kumamoto
Term: From April 2002 to February 2003

20 children of the PC club in Musashi primary school in Japan, 20 children of Moreau primary school in France, and 26 children of Vignaud junior high school in France.
- Worldraw at Kurokami primary school Kumamoto
Term: From September 2002 to February 2003

105 children in the 5th year of Kurokami primary school in Japan, 32 children of Hasdeu primary school in Romania, 30 kids from A Coruna, Spain and 35 kids from Ain Temouchent, Algeria
- Worldraw at Ikenoue primary school Kumamoto
Term: From September 2002 to February 2003

20 children of the PC club in Ikenoue primary school in Japan and 32 children of Hasdeu primary school in Romania. This school presents the most complete set of drawings displayed on this site.
