| Dobar Dan Japan which means "Hello Japan!" was a sequel to the "Konnichiwa Bosnia" project (see lower). In March of 2001 a group of young Kumamoto kids left for Bosnia-Herzegovina to learn about War and Peace as experienced by the people in Sarajevo. The kids wrote a report during this cross-cultural field trip about the lives of the people in the capital city of Bosnia-Herzegovina. |
| To support[Tara Project] , a foster family project for Tibetan refugees in Nepal, a group of 9 Japanese youth visited these Tibetan children to report on their life conditions and share about it with the japanese community after their return. This event took place for 3 weeks over March and April of 2000. Radio programs and a RKK television report were broadcasted on the project. |

| After exchanging e-mail drawings with kids in war torn Bosnia we decided to invite them over to Japan! So in october of 1998, a group of children from Sarajevo came to Kumamoto City where we hosted them in our japanese families. They visited many schools, participated in the Kid's World Peace Symposium, visited the Nagasaki bomb museum and many other things you can see on this web site. It was an incredibly successful project highlighted by the local media. |
